Neurotoxins
Neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau are minimally invasive injections that help to promote a youthful appearance by decreasing the presence of wrinkles. Due to contraction of facial muscles, wrinkles can form. These neurotoxins block muscle contraction which results in a smoothing effect of lines around the face which can be a telltale sign of aging.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm are hyaluronic acid fillers. These types of fillers can help to restore age related volume loss in the face. When applied strategically in the cheeks, jaw, and chin, it can give a more sculpted appearance. Dermal fillers applied in the lips can enhance the shape of the lip and give a more hydrated appearance.
Barb PDO Threads
Barb PDO threads are dissolvable threads that are placed underneath the skin to create a lifting effect as well as create collagen. They can help to restore volume in the face. While they are not a replacement for surgery, they can help to lift sagging tissue in the face. Barb PDO threads may also be combined with dermal fillers.
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) is derived from your own blood cells. Blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge. Afterwards, PRF, which contains high concentrations of fibrin and white blood cells is injected underneath the skin by using a cannula. PRF helps to provide mild volume to areas in the face as well as improving skin quality. PRF injections are recommended in a series of 3, 6-8 weeks apart. PRF may be combined with dermal fillers to add in further volumization.
